About Trailpoint

Two operators who build the work themselves.

We are not a reseller, and not an agency that subcontracts the hard part. We build AI inside real operating businesses, then teach your team to run it. We started with our own.

The founders

Who you work with.

A two-person firm on purpose. When you hire Trailpoint, you work with the people who do the work.

Matt Moore

Co-founder

Operator across construction and AI. Runs business development and estimating in a roofing and restoration company, and builds the AI tools that support it: estimating engines and an insurance-supplement engine now used on live jobs. He turns a messy operation into a mapped one, then puts AI only where it pays.

Matt Atkins

Co-founder

Builds the complex work himself. When an engagement needs a custom app or integration, Atkins writes it, so you get software made for your business rather than a template from an outside dev shop. Your capability stays with people who understand it.

Placeholder bios and monogram avatars — swap in real headshots and confirm each background before launch. A named photo beats an initial.

Why we exist

The frontier should be reachable for every business.

AI is moving faster than most businesses can follow. The headlines are loud, the tools are endless, and it's hard to tell what's genuinely useful from what's just noise. Too many companies either freeze — or sprint in the wrong direction.

We started Trailpoint to fix that for the businesses we know best: builders and trades. With the right outfitting and an honest guide, any business can reach the frontier — and thrive there.

So we keep our work grounded. We don't chase hype or sell science projects. We find the places AI creates real value in your business, build it into the way you already work, and make sure your team can carry it forward.

Confident, calm, and genuinely excited about what's ahead — that's how we approach every engagement, and how we want you to feel about the road in front of you.

What we stand for

How we guide.

Value, not novelty

It earns its place

If a recommendation won't make a measurable difference, we tell you. Every project names the number it should move.

Process first, tool second

Map before you buy

We map the workflow before we recommend anything. Sometimes the fix is a process change, not software, and we say so.

Yours, not ours

Capability that stays

We succeed when you no longer need us for the basics. The confidence lives in your team, and the roadmap is yours to keep.
